I like the acid cars, but that's pretty pricy for a tube with wheels. I really hope they upgrade the model with etched details.

I don't need the acid or LPG tanks.

The tanks are too modern for me... hooray!

Hmm... I just ordered
20 of 'em on Kiz's credit

Glad to see they're still committed to releasing the hoppers and LPG tankers.  Excellent models, both.

Agreed, this would be an excellent candidate for a makeover.  At least we have the GMM kit until then.

Hmm...  New announcement says body mounted couplers.  I wonder if that will be the only thing updated.

Ah, so it does.  I'll certainly have another look when they come out (in a year…) since you can't tell squat from their graphics.  I could use virtually all of the announced schemes.

I know I should ask Athearn, but is this a new car or the old MDC 50' with body mounts?  The graphic looks familiar and they are  from the ready to roll line.

OLD MDC car. I doubt it will have body mounted couplers. It is a good stand-in for their acid car they have in HO. I just wish they added all the missing detail.

They do make mistakes like this a lot. I am guessing some of the bullets are copied from other fliers.

Then I will likely wait on better quality acid. I have plenty of the MDCers from back when a 12 pack ran less than a C note. Premature excitement assuming these were n scale versions of the HO car.

Same MDC car more than likely as they usually note first of it being an all new model like the autorack announcement last month. Would love to see a new model of a 70's era tank car.
