where did they announce this?...curious...the freight units are single headlight, and the bluebonnets would be double headlight. odd release, if this is true, and would mean that they went ahead and retooled the single headlight-freight pilot-F7 body shell that they said was not useable.
it would be VERY welcome (in fact, it was the one release I kept asking Kato to revisit-the blue Freight scheme)
hope it's true...the posted list doesn't appear to be Kato generated...

It is true. I am a Kato dealer. I generated the list in the image myself as there are not any pictures available yet. We do not have any info on the headlights as of yet.

now they have their site updated apparently...

I'm glad to see Kato doing these...but truth is, I've acquired all that I probably need: 3 LABC sets plus an extra 'A' unit-all on the older, HEAVY mechanisms...(beautiful pullers but frames need milling to perform 'old school' DCC conversions)
I'm sure the new releases will have the current Kato improved paint (with kick plates, builders' plates, lit numberboards, etc)

I think more welcome news. for those that DON'T model Santa Fe, is the apparent availability of the single headlight, freight pilot F7 unit shell again...maybe we'll see more roadnames available on these (would love to see a number of roads done by Kato)

FYI: Santa Fe "Blue" Bonnets were used mostly as freight only F units post Amtrak. The Yellow Bonnets were use on Amtrak trains in Santa Fe territory.  They probably never wandered too far off the Santa Fe either.
