Heads Up - Tru Color Price Increase

Since Scalecoat paint will be no more, I started looking into Tru Color paint. Looking at their website -

http://trucolorpaint.com/products/

I noticed a rather stiff price increase coming July 1st. If you use Tru Color paints, you might want to order some now.

Hmm... looks like I won't
be painting my tree house
any time soon...

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.
"It works! It works!"

It's just supply and demand.

An increase of $0.70 per single bottle is stiff?    :?

Granted, I remember buying Floquil for $1.29

Wellllll... 70¢ might not sound like much when taken separately, but a 15% across-the-board increase is a little tough to swallow.

FWIW, here's an online shop that discounts Tru-Color about 20%: http://www.arizonahobbies.com/category-s/2838.htm, and they haven't made any mention of price increases. At least not yet. Might be worth a try.

Welllll, if you don't like it you can always find another brand of paint and vote with your wallet.   ;)

Wow, so model paint is now more expensive than really good single malt on a volume basis.  Lagavulin or CN Orange number 11.... hmmm. Not that hard to make that decision.

I recently bought some Railway Prototype Cyclopedias from them.  Very easy to deal with.  I wouldn't hesitate to contact them.

I have purchased from the AZ Hobbies on line site. No problems with doing business with him.

Lol Scott, I'm sure you're  going for the paint, right? There is always Grant's, so what if it's blended

LOL.  We'd best not start talking whiskey, that can only lead to politics and religion!
