You an I both Dave. Wish someone (Kato) would do a N scale of one. I had the pleasure of riding in one during the early Amtrak days from Alexandria to Richmond, VA. Great cars.
How lucky you are, Bob, to have ridden on one those cars. More than once, I've told you that I wish I could have your memories of the railfanning that you've done in your life.
I'd buy one or two N scale models, too. Unfortunately, that car design is too rare and, I think, limited to the SAL, SCL, and early Amtrak. We'll likely never see it mass-produced in N scale.
