Especially on a tank car which will likely be part of a long unit train!  :D  Although not that it should be doing a lot of switching moves! LOL!

I'm really glad to see body mounted couplers on an N scale tank car.  Really glad.
Thank you,
Mike DeBerg

UGH I hate when I'm right... now this means I need to cough up 26 x 48 = $1248  (of course I have to have ALL of them)  Two crude trains is bearly scatching the surface for the modern day eastern modeler. White will come in handy, a few around these parts.

Gee thanks Craig  :D

Because modern sells, and much of modern railroading is unit trains, so modern sells in quantity. Makes sense to me.

I like the car and how features like body-mounts advance the hobby, but it doesn't work for 1970. We all have to draw our lines in the sand, I guess.

I guess these will be thick on the ground (actually the rails - hopefully!) over Tehachapi in the months to come with the opening of a new processing facility outside Bakersfield:

Just pre-ordered a 24-pack from Chuck. :)   Kind of a throwback to the SP oil cans that plied the hill for so many years.  Check out the lashup on this one:

Only SP....

It is not clear to me how these will be packaged.  Individual cars or 24 packs?  I would like 16 for my little layout.

BLMA wedsite shows you can order singles or sets of 3-6-12, or all 24.

The WNY&P is storing 3 or 4 complete oil trains on the Machias portion of the PRR-NS Buffalo-Harrisburg line.  These could be used to model that situation.

So true. Means the Ntrak'ers will have something new to run for sure. And the room to run 'em.

Yeah, and even though they are out of my era - too new - I'll get a three pack.  Cause no refinery ever had enough tank cars.
