It would be nothing on my layout except a flatcar load, but man . . . .

That is rather snazzy, a long way from the Farmall Cub I learned to drive on.

That beast would be so cool in N scale my John Deere dealer would have to expand his product line. I wonder if there is a keychain version. :D

Philip,

And this is just how good that would look as a flatcar load if made in N scale.  I spied these on the first CRHS RailBQ that I went to in 2009:

Very cool.

Looks like an ideal candidate for a cast-metal/photoetched kit from Showcase Miniatures. They have been coming out with some surprising models lately. Email them some photos and see if maybe they are interested.

And that's the exact prototype for the InterMountain 60' flatcar, so that part of the battle is won.

These tractors are made at the CNH plant in Fargo, ND.  I've been to the plant and seen them built.  Quite impressive...  I was promised a chance to take a Quad Trac out on their test track, but that never happened.

Looks like the perfect commuter rig for the well-healed Boston professional (this year anyhow). I am sure it comes complete with a cup holder.

Best wishes, Dave
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

I thought I was going to need one of these in DC this morning....

...with or without M2HB 50
M20 armored scout car.  Patton had one with an added windshield and horns.
Can't model worth a darn, but can research like an SOB.

Holy spit - there is a key ring:

http://www.3000toys.com/Universal-Hobbies-Case-Quadtrac-600-Tractor-Key-Ring/sku/UNIVERSAL%20HOBBIES5595

It appears to be about the right size to fit on an N-scale flatcar, going by the ring size. The price is right, especially for a stand-in.
