Athearn Mack Cement Mixer Question

Does anybody have any idea how to mount the accessory chutes? The brackets are there but damn if I can figure it out. Maybe that is why all the used ones on ebay are missing them.
For now mine are safely stored.

Most often they were stored on a rack on the bed beside the drum.  Here's some pictures of them, some are plainly visible, some not so.

Can you post a pic of the chutes? I've never handled one of these, so have no idea what they look like.

Hi Power Stroke,
   On the Athearn mixer, the chutes mount on the brackets on the right side of the mixer just behind the cab.



Although mine is a B model Mack, I think it's the same mounting arrangement as the R model Mack.

P.S. I forgot to mention, I glued my chutes on using Testors Plastic Model Cement.

Yeah that's what I'm looking for! thanks Rich. I think my eyesight is going but it looks like the bracket goes through the holes in the chutes, is that correct?

I am not Rich, but there is a bracket on the truck that fits into the holes in the chutes.

Thank you!  I have several of these, and no use for them, but it is nice to know how to put them together if I ever need them.  This is one of those cases where a simple diagram on the packaging would be very handy, and wouldn't cost any extra.

No, the Chutes sit on the brackets, the holes in the Chutes are not big enough to fit over the brackets.

Cool! I never knew how to mount them on mine either. One thing is for sure, these are nice looking rigs that Athearn did.

My apologies, I should have looked at my model before posting.   

The brackets serve as a "cradle" for the chutes.
