Just seen the november news letter and it says the U25C's are due in december  8) I got a Conrail pre ordered hoping they do PC and Pennsy next. http://createsend.com/t/j-A3D7A7E0D124E39F

If extra parts are available from the manufacturer, Conrail queens will be ecstatic.  Anyone else notice that cab signal box behind the cab?

Hay Brothers offers a PRR-style cab signal box in various colors, including Conrail Blue.

Hey! Wait a tick. Please tell me those handrails on the Q model are not a different color than the body. Please tell me I'm seeing things. :facepalm:

It'll be interesting to see what the handrails look like in the final product.  Depending on the photos of the pre-production units, they look good sometimes and bad sometimes.

Product idea for MT:  whatever technology you use to make handrails for the Z scale SD40-2, use that to make retrofit kits for N Scale models.

Negative.  You're thinking of the GP-35, but they switched to plastic on the SD40-2's.

It's also not easy to scale up to N, Tom, because the plastic only wants to travel so far between stanchions at diameters that small.

I have some requested from Chuck at Feather River, but haven't seen them anywhere on his site.  He said last Spring that he was a Hornby dealer and would have them, but when I talked to him by phone in September he said that he called them but still didn't have any word on these, so I'm still wondering if they actually exist...
