the Wayne Feeds car is the only one of these schemes in there. it is weathered but loks like it used to be yellow.

I do like the Southern States and Domino.  And I was thinking about an industrial-size bakery.

How's the running board on these?  I know there was an etched replacement back in the day which usually means the factory one needs it.  With the other improvements, are the RBs going to be up to snuff?  Plano doesn't list the walkway for this car anymore.  I wonder if they would bring it back.

Jason you could probably use the gold metal kit for the Model Power 55' cylindrical hopper. http://www.goldmm.com/nscale/gmnmpchr.htm  The kit for the CS model hopper would work but you would have to shorten the walk way.

In a quick hit of using the ol' google box, yielded only this picture of an ASRX (Domino Sugar) car of the correct type. Located at the B&O museum of all places.

I emailed Plano.  Hopefully they'll get back to me about the walkways.  I also emailed Bowser to ask about the roof walk and brake gear to see if there are any improvements on those with this new release.

The picture was taken in March 1978 in Tampa Fl. The caption says a build date for car number SHPX 62237 as 10-73 while Bowsers artwork shows a build date of 10-66 for higher numbered cars.

I don't know if the brake gear is being improved. With an MSRP of $19.95, Fox Valley Wheels and body mounted couplers, I'm not sure they would do much more re-tooling. You guys would know more about that than I, but it would seem the price would have to be higher if they did that.

Lee English replied that it's just the wheels and couplers.   

Still no word from Plano.

The Old Dutch Cleanser reminds me of my very first HO train set. 
The Tyco Chattanooga Choo Choo with a 2-8-0 that smoked, if I recall, and a 54' ACF Covered Hopper decorated in that scheme.

A couple photos of an older Bowser car with the Plano roofwalk installed. I can live with the Micro Trains roofwalk but the Bowser one is pretty klunky and the Plano is a vast improvement. Will be interested in any upgrades they make to this. Also, I wish they would have done a few "conservative" schemes.
