I'm confused though...isn't there better detail on the 100 Micron side of that Rose, or is that what it's supposed to be?

The steps like a contour map that you see are not what is wanted, at least by us.

There is also a question about the third-party resin used. LittleRP notes shrinkage. How much? Going to the MadeSolid and MakerJuice sites, the former has nothing about shrinkage in their tech page and the latter has nothing for the link to their tech page. There is also a question of flexibility/brittleness. It would be great to be able to make gears and snap-fit parts with sufficient strength (whatever "sufficient" would be).

Now size isn't particularly critical for figures, and for N parts you can fiddle with the software to get the size you require. But how much fiddling is needed on average to get something to where you want it? There are always issues with the process in uncured sections and consistent forming. At about $50 a liter for resin, it's a concern.

Ah.  I certainly saw the steps like you say, but the image is either more clear or something made that side look more appealing than the other.  Jedi mind tricks, I guess.

Having run a full size Stereolithography machine before Rapid Prototype machines became available, Uncured areas are cured under an external UV light source once they're removed from the machine.
