Plenty here on the Railwire more qualified than me...

Wait, let me get this straight...

Decent writing skills, check.
A willingness to write product announcement blogs in a timely manner, possibly (but has nothing to do with qualifications).
An established N scale modeler, check.
Existing acquaintance preferred, assumed (but again has nothing to do with qualifications).

What more qualification do you need?

I have enough deadlines and schedules at work.  I'm not all that interested in adding any right now.

Is it work, amphetamine cuts, hammer fists, or urine junction that is really taking up your time?   :D

That has Lee written all over it.
Now seeking Pacific NW N scalers to create a Modutrak-style modular club featuring NP's shared mainline between Seattle and Portland. PM me if interested.

Hmm... I'll do it if it pays
enough... do I have to
take a drug test...?

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

A little of all three.  Seriously, do you have any idea how much freakin' time it takes to praise and feed your N gauge model railroad buildings?  And don't get me started on hammer fists!

Ah, so it's not qualifications you lack, but spare time. Shoulda said so in the first place!

I travel too much. I am retired from writing that kind of stuff, and am really enjoying not doing it.

Dave,
While we have your attention, what is going on with your Juniata website? Every link I click on I get the following error message:

After this week, it is probably safe to assume that that is legitimate text that Dave wrote.
