Color 1800's Pictures

I was reading CNN articles and came across this; apparently some hand-colored pictures from the 1800's have been found, and the first one is of Clear Creek Canyon on the Georgetown Loop in Colorado.

The one with the trolley on the cliff is the Mt. Lowe Railway, a scenic attraction north of Pasadena, CA. You can see nearly the entire L.A. basin in that shot, and the northern tip of Catalina Island at the lower left.
