TCS WOW101 Steam-KA sound decoder.

Looking for some info on this decoder as to what the brown and pink wires are used for? It looks like that they could be used for lights I believe but not quite sure. Also does anyone know if you need to use resistor's with LED's on this decoder?
With any luck this decoder will get installed into a brass CN HO 2-6-0 that I have.

According to the WOW-KA manual Pink and Brown are on-off only functions that cannot be programmed fir lighting effects. You can turn a light on or off with them but that is it.
