Any idea on how the demand is for preorders is going for this new release?

BLW has my order for both a NP and a CBQ one.  I could be wrong, but I think this is the first offer of a 6 axle engine in NP - and perhaps the 2nd in CBQ(you would have thought KATO could have done their SD-45 in both of these road names, but NOOOOOoooo).  So, I am looking forward to seeing these, even at the higher price.  I hope more than just you and I have pre-ordered!

But, we are still due a modern one.

I pre ordered a Conrail with BLW will also get a PC when they do them, also tempted to get a CB&Q but will have to see, as I heard there was a decent amount of CB&Q run through power on the PC.

The Minitrix "U28C" is not a U28C. 

Late model U28Cs has a different number of radiators and looked visually different.

This is the Trix model.  It is really a U30C- second version.  I think some people call it a phase 1b.  Note the long notch at the radiator section. and two doors with small grills.


This is what Trix should have made.  A true U28C.


By the way..... Good grief!  Were the Conrail painters drunk that day?

Wish I had know that the Trix one was really a U30 before I sold it since ICGs only GE locks were 30 C's

   IC/ICG also had a group of U30Bs,dont think it
  was more than 6,but am open to being corrected on that.
     odd they will do CR before PRR or PC,who plans these
