Wow, I just realized that FVM, BLMA and Bluford have all been very quiet lately.
You've crossed the walls, excelled
Further along through their hell
All for my heart, I watch you kill
You always have, you always will
Now spread your wings and sail out to me

I think the UP models are the first in N Scale to feature a PTC farm.  That'll be interesting to see.

Has FVM talked about doing other engines such as Geeps?

Like a high hood Southern GP-30.

Hmm... I could use a
flat hood GP88...

The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

These are nice units.

FVM has told me they are going to do a SD70M-2 soon.  Makes sense given the existing tooling they have.  And Toasters Rock.

I'd be all over that as long as they don't release NS stuff with the low headlight. I was still a bit annoyed with the Heritage GEVO's not having the wide-style handrails. Doesn't stop me from running mine, but if you are going to change the tooling for the cabs why not offer the right handrails?

I requested 60-70's era Hy cube boxcars and gondolas on Blufords facebook and they said given my era I will be pleased with their next announcement later this year, will have to see.

My understanding is it will be a nose headlight version.  Maybe both.  I did not ask about roadnames so I can't say.

Yes I'd grab some SD70M-2"s!!!  :D

With IM coming out with the SD40's also I'm gonna be bankrupt by the end of the year.

I'd love to see FVM do a nice High Hood Geep. NS still has quite a few running around.

There were photos of the SD70M-2 models at the Amherst show in 2013, so the tooling is probably already done.  Just need to get them in the schedule, I suppose.

From the ACe sample pics, I saw none with the correct NS antennas.  However in the announcement, it said the NS units would have modified tooling to make them NS specific.  I presume it will be the same with the M-2's so I feel as FVM will get it right.

FVM had samples for the SD70M-2 (non Iso cab CN and NS version w/ rear ditch lights) and when they announced the NS ACes they showed off CAD drawings with the correct details, I have no doubts FVM will get the details right....

FVM made two announcements in the last week.
