Awesome Grafitti

I've seen a lot of railcar graffiti but nothing like this.  Caught it in the yard here today.  This car must have sat somewhere for a very long time to allow someone to do something this good.  Wish there was a decal for it

This girl is just as pretty, and decals of this grafitti were available for sale.



But I agree - it would be nice to have a decal of that image made.

Count me in!  Someday I will get back to painting and graffiti will probably end up on 75% of my rolling stock.

I must be getting old because I now see that the world is really getting weird.
Imagine me trying to find some graffiti artist to ask their permission to make a decal of their "art".  Or to pay them royalties. Most of those "artists" try their hardest to remain anonymous.

It's a complaint driven system and I don't think anyone's going to complain, at least not at the hobby level.  Now if some designer put some graffiti they found on a shirt or sold as art and made millions some how that might generate enough attention for someone to come out of the woodwork, but they'd still have to prove it was their work too. 

At the hobby level we're pretty safe, a lot of people worry wayyyy too much about letter-of-the-law copyright stuff.
