I read somewhere that on either the NH or PRR they simply added extra rails off one end of the turntable, but raised to clear the tracks along the pit edge, and turned engines too big for the table. They put the tender end on the jacked-up add-ons. Saw a picture of it, very weird, tender hanging out 3-4 feet past the bridge end.

I own the Tomix turntable. It looks very similar to the Kato turntable shown. The Tomix turntable is fun to use. The Walthers turntable is superior, especially in size and its "American" design. Just sayin'. :D

I saw that video posted over the weekend.  Figure there's no point in posting it here if it's just more assholes responding that obviously have decided it doesn't belong here.  It's cool, there's always been an unofficial "no Unitrack" rule here so I will comply.   ;)

Well, I'm not sure if you have any IMRC six-axle diesels, but I'm in their camp.   First time, shame on them...second time, shame on me.

I don't have a problem criticizing products, but calling modelers "Lionel N-scalers" is bullshit.    And from whom it came....talk about glass houses....  :oops:

I guess there's a Tony Koester in every group.

This thread has gone down the toilet really, really fast. Obviously we have some fellows who are passionate about their particular views, and others who do not respond well to such views. Members on both sides of the fence are guilty of unacceptable behavior. Certain people need to tone down the rhetoric, and others need to watch their language.
