I'm amazed more modelers don't have laser cutters, CNC routers and 3D printers now days. They're almost too cheap to ignore. You just need CAD/3D CAD skills, which are more or less just time and practice.
You've really got me thinking.
Honestly, I think it’s the CAD part that gets most people. Most everyone I talk to says that they’re intimidated by the drawings. The first thing I tell them is look online and download free drawings. They are available everywhere and tweak them as you need. Especially for 3-D.
I guess I get that, but it's really not as difficult as they make it out to be. It's similar to learning to solder or use machine tools. Jeff
