Just under my simple door layout I used up 6 50' rolls of #20 Atlas hook up wire.    Took me like a week rolling around under the layout with soldering iron.

So, this happened last night...

I finished getting everything wired up.

The track isn't glued down yet, because I still have some work to do on switches, so ignore the various bends that look a bit off.

The exciting thing is that, this end is now operational!

I guess it's time to get going on the other end.

Now that I have stuff running around the one side, it's time to get the other going.

I completed the most complicated piece of benchwork I had to build.

Starting to look like an actual layout!  Just make sure Foxx isn't wearing a tie when he comes to work on the track...  The hourly rate is a lot higher.
