That reefer shot is likely just a research item, the image is in Photoshop, not the best way to copy vector artwork.

I think that video is just an elaborate ruse, I think oompa loompas and magic are used to produce MT products,there is no way they can put out all those products every month for the prices they charge.  Amazing stuff!  Makes me appreciate all the art and skill and labor that go into these cars.  (and all the competitors too).

For the price of admission I say the video was worth watching.  There may be a lot of MTL bashing on here, some deserved, some not so much, but for those of us not remotely involved with the manufacturing of "stuff" its always interesting to "look behind the curtain" occasionally.

Thanks for posting the the video.  I watched it, enjoyed it and learned a lot from it.

I don't purchase a lot of MT products these days, but I enjoy the ones I do.  I am very glad they are in the industry, and quite frankly, I wish folks would not be so negative about their product.

A couple of things got my attention, both related to my line of work...

I was amused by CompuGraphic typesetter in the "historic" pictures. Certainly was the technology of the day, but considering the CompuGraphic font library was limited relative to what we can do now, I have to wonder just how much early car artwork was prepared with fonts that were "close enough"?

In the clips of the current office, the number of desks dominated by old-fashioned CRTs was boggling. I realize that small businesses like this don't have money to throw around, but getting rid of those old monitors and giving everyone modern flat screens would reap huge savings in square footage, something that seems to also be a precious commodity in a busy workplace. I'd normally chalk it up to "old footage", but the continuity with the rest of the video says otherwise.

Just sayin'.

we've been involved in a lot of upgrading in critical production and development departments...at some point we plan on getting flat screen monitors and an Expresso Bar for the front office for those who are also concerned about the quality of the coffee they consume.  We will update Railwire when the aroma therapy equipment arrives as we will want to be sure it meets all prototype standards for the industry.
