Here's a photo from the weekend:

PRR H10w #8014 blasting out of a tunnel on an empty coal drag somewhere in West Virginia.

She fairs well with the decoder, but I think she at least needs to have some extra pickups bodged onto the tender.

Cody,

Good to meet you. Glad to see someone running brass steam... and DCC equipped to boot!  :D
Thanks for the insight on decoder selection and placement. May come in handy when doing the Oriental Lmtd. brass SP C-8 & 9s 2-8-0s.  ;)

Glad to have made a valuable contribution, and it was great to meet you as well as a few other  :ashat: 's.
If it wasn't such a pain to get the shell off now that it has a decoder, I'd snap some pictures.
I'm already working on some extra pickups for the tender trucks.

Lee, Hope you have fun with the Graham Farish kit.
The Engine and Goods shed models are quite nice and the adhesive used is certainly strong, even after 20 some years.

my version is here in prosaic narrative (I was tempted to do iambic pentameter)

And I agree - a great day from a real high caliber crew.  Can't wait til next year!

Nice to see it well attended. I enjoyed visiting. Spent some time talking with some of you, however briefly. Thanks to the one dealer on the rolling stock! Nice savings.

Nuts!  Wish I had known you were there - I'd love to chat WC modeling over a beverage!

Cody:

Was that your Key H10?  I mentioned what a good runner it was.  I should have asked your name or we should have had name tags!  Good to sort of meet you.

Thanks to Mike Philips for another great N Scale Weekend.  It's really about running trains- here's mine.  And thanks to my friends at the Capital PenN Scalers club for letting me run.

Indeed it was. My shirt has my name on it, but I think I could use a namer at that denotes my railwire membership for easy clarification. Glad you got a chance to see it out on the high-iron.
