Those frame stripes look a little thick - something I also noticed on the Atlas NS SD60's that just came in.

Wonder what the deal is with the pricing differences.For instance two CSX units are $110. third one is $130.

I've ordered seven: Erie, Savannah & Atlanta, Reading, N.J. Central, Wabash, Lackawanna, and Virginian.

The paint schemes are just too good to pass up, even though they will look a bit out of place on my 1957 NKP layout (They'll look great on our NTrak club layout, though!).   I think this was just a brilliant move by NS; they've gotten a ton of free publicity out of it, and the schemes are all just exceptionally well done on the prototypes - the models look pretty darn good, too!

I have a friend who models N&W in the 40s.

I made him a T6 and that brought him up to 1951 or so.

I've toyed with the idea of getting him a Savanah & Atlanta. Or the Interstate orange loco just for fun.

Year of release. the $130 was release a couple of years later.

Yup. N&W didn't even own a diesel until September 1955.
