Can anybody get to Kato's site? Since I read this post this morning, I have not been able to get the Kato USA website to work.

I got one once to see the Heritage shells.  I also checked out the production schedule and I couldn't find the new North American Freight Cars anymore.

So it's working fine right now.

Can anyone find the new fright cars listed?  They were under the production schedule, but it's a new sheet now.

I guess this was interesting to enough people: I just checked back and they appear to have sold out.

It was an interesting sale to me, for my ships. Maybe I bought them out?

Folks buying my bigger container ships need lots of containers. I'm watching the market closely, trying to figure out a reasonable way to fill the decks (and also the holds in the latest ships, if you go for the open hatches). I tried N scale containers once, but they were too horrible. The Z scale containers turned out well, so I'll try N scale once again when I get back from Alabama.

Man, it's hot down here, but much cooler than NYC!

I was in Decatur. I'm back in Oxford, Ohio today. Driving back to Decatur on Aug 4 for a short stay, actually to rescue Kay and bring her back for a while. These solo 440-mile drives are killing me. The dog was with me this trip, which makes it worse. He's a sweetheart, but also a rambunctious 65-lb Gordon Setter with a "sensitive" GI tract.

If you ever make it as far down as Mobile, let me know.
