Like the Civil War rolling stock so far.  Also like that the thirty six foot refrigerators have re-appeared.  Even though most of the schemes are early twentieth century, nothing says nineteenth century like wood cars, arch bar trucks and truss rods.  In short, I do buy the thirty six foot refrigerators to run on my nineteenth century pike.  I hope to see more of them,

I would like to see some nineteenth century gondolas, hoppers and tank cars.

While on the subject of MT and the nineteenth century:  Does anyone know what couplers to use on the Civil War rolling stock?  While the link and pins are a nice touch, all of my nineteenth century power has knuckle couplers.

In a more 'modern' era, grain boxcars.  My understanding is that the use of the covered hopper for grain was rare until the early 1960s.  I would only need one or two, but others here might want more.

HW combines:  baggage/mail/passenger, baggage/mail and baggage/passenger.  I know that there were some out there that were mail/passenger, but I have only seen one or two photographs of those, so I suspect that they were unusual.

Remember, G39s ran in Penn Central paint too!  :D

I almost posted about how those are available as kits from SPF Design...then I realized it was the same thing with the B60b and HGM. Lots of money, lots of work for something you need a lot of.

The 62' pulpwood flatcar like the walthers HO model, would go nicely with the recent log car release.

Hi Joe,
I am glad that the Diner is still in progress. Without too much effort the X32 50' boxcars could be re-run as a runner pack with three cars or just change the one end panel to twin doors and you would have he X33 Auto Box Car.

GATC steel meat reefer - hinged and plug door versions
Early (50s-60s era) welded frameless tank car - jacketed and unjacketed end versions
Early 40' mechanical reefer
Early 89' channel side flat
1955-era GAEX/Evans DF sliding door box car (with overhanging roof and mid panel horizontal car-length rivet line)
That SP-prototype riveted, end brake wheel flat you had spoken about last year
Upgraded helium car
GATX boxcar
AAR 40-ish' steel gondola
Upgraded two-bay Airslide
Mid-century carbon black car
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

...

Any steam era stock car prototypes

...specifically, how about some Burlington type SM-18/18A (36 feet; mid-20's vintage) or SM-19s (40 feet; late-40's vintage) stock cars?  There is a Burlington Bulletin that provides much of the research you'd need for this project.....

I wouldn't care really care what prototype is used for the stock car (though I would prefer a PRR K7, they use the X23 base) as long as it is steam era. Also, MTL doesn't have any stock cars besides the RBBB car, so I think many people would like to see this.

How about the Greenville two bay covered hopper.

Michigan style Ore cars.

Ann Arbor/Wabash style streamlined steel caboose. (Can do AA, DTI, GTW, M&LS, NW, NW and the purple abomination that toured the nation with "Art Train".)

The PS-2 3500 hoppers (no more 4427's, please...) :P

Detroit Edison coal gon's (at one time the largest fleet of privately owned coal gon's in the US)
Ran from West Virginia to Montana.

How about an unpowered calf to go with the SW1500

EMD never made a calf SW1500.  Even with MT the king of foobies, doubt this will happen.  As for unpowered, why? The cab area doesn't hold/hide the motor. It could very well be powered.
