Hello folks,
This is my first official post here. Hello! I am an N scale modeler hailing from sunny, basement-less southern California. I've been lurking through some posts here and I'm enjoying reading through the topics. I enjoy handlaying turnouts, scratchbuilding, bourbon, and long walks on the beach.
Currently, I have been working on a very small shelf switching layout, of which I've posted a video below. It was designed with the help of M.C. Fujiwara, of whom I am forever in a debt of gratitude.
This layout recently went through a move, and has yet to be officially installed into our new home. It was originally installed along a wall in a very cramped office in our old one-bedroom apartment. We now have a garage, which is mostly used for storage, but it does have a free wall that has been finished with some hardboard, as well as a clear space of about 8' x 15' where I could possibly set up some FreeMo Modules, or the like. I am thinking of expanding the shelf with a long yard of some type, since I now have about 3x the length available to me.
