This last weekend while attending the "Big Train show" in Ontario California one of my N scale friends Bill said” when is Showcase Miniatures going to show us N scalers some love?” I asked him, “what in the world are you talking about?” He referred to the new Z scale MOW truck most recently offered by Showcase Miniatures.  I told him he would have to wait until I get my 1956 Nash Metropolitan in N scale first.  He laughed and said” A NASH, YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING”
Anyway, for those of you who haven’t noticed Walter’s got the new product releases notched out to run 8. He is clicking out new products faster than I can tell you about them.  About two weeks ago Showcase Miniatures released a really cool MOW truck with out riggers, a boom, and a lot of utility support equipment.  Not only that but he had two beautiful Cabovers in that Z scale release that may have been over shadowed by the MOW.  After making the initial posts announcing the availability on the Z groups it became immediately evident that the MOW truck was something that the N scale enthusiasts would like as well.  Walter quickly responded and here they are, available today.  No, I didn’t say we’re announcing that we are going to make them... I’m announcing they are done and ready to be delivered to your railroad’s MOW department!
Bill I don't know if this is the group you lurk on but if so listen up, you can keep laughing. I guess I will have to wait for my 1956 Metropolitan. Now go show Walter and Debbie some love and get your N scale MOW truck.

It was very strange how quiet the announcement was. The Loadstar got a lot more coverage on the forums for some reason.

Joe and Walter -  Thanks very much - this is a much, much needed model!

And of course, we're not going to let you guys rest, because NOW we're going to need some more MOW trucks and track equipment to go with it! :)

It would be nice for example to see the car department truck - like yours, but set up to carry a couple of axles on a flat deck near the cab.  And also a smaller, lighter truck similar to the older MOW truck you guys did in the past.

But this model EXCEEDS all expectations from the photos and I had no doubt it will be fantastic!
