I would have been all over these as kitbash fodder but now that FVM is making the Milwaukee transfer caboose I am a happy camper. The Blueford models looks really nice and I hope that they are a big success for them.

Best wishes, Dave

They are out now. The first 2 runs came today and the Family Lines system was one of them.

No, no.  Those are the Family Lines schemes for the L&N, Clinchfield, and one patched for the Indiana Rail Road.  I'm referring to the Family Lines scheme that is patched for the Seaboard System ("SBD").  Craig said he planned to do that down the road in this thread: https://www.therailwire.net/forum/index.php?topic=25672.msg257117;topicseen#msg257117

Those releases are really nice, but I'm going to try to hold out for the SBD.

Thanks,
Dave

"Those are the Family Lines schemes for the L&N, Clinchfield, and one patched for the Indiana Rail Road."

Patched SBD in the ribbon paint would be another good one for southeast modelers but lets not confuse that6 type of caboose with transfer cabooses because nothing could be further from the truth.  Like the UP and MoPac cabs the L&N and CRR cabs were road cabooses with shorter bodies since the additional space that use to be allotted to a road caboose no longer was needed.  While the original frame was retained for these cabs there was less compartment space needed making the cabs a little cheaper to build while still providing the needed amminities that the crew on the rear would need... seating and a toilet, heater and a radio.

Got the call from the LHS yesterday that the Conrail one I ordered had arrived.  Picked it up today.   :D  It's everything I imagined and expected from Blueford Shops.  Can't wait to see what else they come up with.
