I supposed to keep up...?

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

Ha! Same site, but his very own domain! I wonder how long he had to wait for a cybersquatter to let go of it?

Good for Mark!  It is a very useful (and entertaining at the same time) website.

LOL about Ian moving it!  :D

It is too bad we lost such a great modeler on this forum.

Very true. It was unfortunate.

It is too bad we lost such a great modeler on this forum.

He's still quite engaged at Trainbaord, and may lurk here from time to time.  It's really his choice, and while I've expressed to him, as have many others, that we'd like him back, I think he sees more issues here then he wants to deal with.  His website is still up, he' still on Facebook, and he's still engaged in the hobby in a serious service way.  I'd call that a win win, and move on.

I too wish he still posted here , but this was his choice . I feel we are no less gentlemanly than the folks at any other forum . We didn't loose him , he lost interest in us . Maybe a personal blog would be a better choice for him , then he could cull out as he chooses . I guess I would top that list  . If we in fact we lost him then what or who was at fault ? :(

The reasons Mark left TRW were discussed at-length in https://www.therailwire.net/forum/index.php?topic=28065.0 . Remember?

For me this is a forum of very talented model railroaders!!  He is a very talented model railroader.  It should be a great fit.  I take part of TB but it would be great to see him here as well.  Not placing blame just stating it is a disappointing situation.

Hey y'all, I don't want to make a big deal out of this, but I did not stop participating in this forum because of the whole "move threads for no earthly reason" thing (which I find supremely annoying, but whatever). Rather, it was due to the rather shabby PM treatment of a buddy of mine (who did in fact have a bunch of threads moved) by one of this forum's moderators. That AB6 rant was just my way of going out with an "in support of my buddy" bang  :D

Bro's before Ho's, right?  :P

Anyway, thanks for all your support. I do continue to read this forum (what with all the major experts on here, who wouldn't?) but as for actual participation, I'm currently quite happy with Trainboard.

Last word on this (or any other) subject, I promise.

Cheers,
-Mark
