Brian Fons and I gathered and passed on to Alan Curtis information about these cars more then a decade ago, he and  his successor, Peter,I believe then gathered more information and have released a kit of these distinctive pulpwood racks. I ordered 6 this morning and will post more information as soon as they arrive.

Well it's about time......I don't know what the holdup was but these took forever.....

I think they look great and the price isn't that bad....I like the three packs......

Between these and the upcoming MEC and B&M geeps I'm gonna need a second job

About time! I have been waiting for these. Many of them ended up as B&M/Guilford/PanAm MOW cars for hauling scrap ties.
I WANNA SEE THE BOAT MOVIE!

Yes... I'm in N... Also HO and 1:1

I ordered decals from Highball Graphics a couple weeks ago and have them on hand. The first half dozen I build are going to be MEC units. In most of the early photos I have seen of them they appear black so that is going to be the color I go with. I am going to have to check my MEC data sheets and see what they specify for truck type.

I looked over these on Trainboard, and there was a link there for a website that has all sorts of picture files, including a really nifty highsided rebuild for chips.
