I love the expansion and your "no fear" attitude to tear up the street to achieve your goal.  Sometimes you have to go backwards to move forward.  Way to persevere.  I look forward to following your progress.

I've been eyeballing that wall for years....after my youngest went off to college, the basement is barely used. After thinking it thru I decided it was a go. The last hurdle was c55 track. After buying the first 3 turnouts I need, I made the first cut. After that, it's easy.

Finished installing the re-worked siding to the coal yard....

Back to the paper mill for a bit.....I was struggling for a good way to attach the service platform to the building at the right height......




The answer was not to. I attached it to the silo roof.....

Patching the street was becoming a pain, so I ended up removing nearly all on the town side of the crossing.....these are the forms for pouring the new street.....
