some close up shots.........
first spray on the brick color. then spray or brush on the mortar color, i think i used aged on this particular building. then it was carefully and painstakingly sanding the surface to remove the white and expose the bricks, leaving the mortar behind.
It doesn't take as long as you think....it's one of those tasks you can do a minute at a time, when you only have a few minutes in the train room. And, you can put it aside as soon as it gets tedious.
this isn't recent work, but I never posted these, I found them while cleaning out some old photos....
