A seriously cool proto shot. The body of water behind the scene makes it look almost like a shelf layout or module. I actually mistook it for a model shot at first glance.

I believe that's a wind turbine generator, but I could be totally mistaken.

David has it - two wind turbine generator housings. See them all the time on the freeways around here, but rarely on trains.

Agreed, but "New England Central" sounds like a name more appropriate for a HCD layout, e.g., Carolina Central.

That was my first guess, but every time I've seen trains with these loads, they seem to have the entire windmill or multiple windmills.  Thanks for responding.

In late July, the NS Business train deaheaded to Savannah and took the Piedmont Division by LHS in Buford. Even though it was a mangy day, the shop emptied and a crowd was in front to watch the train.
