I would trade the next passenger announcement for that, if I can get the next freight one to come back east and give us some Heritage units or heck even a plain jane NS SD 70ace.

Kato has changed the shell.  These have ditchlights and AC units.

Speaking of changes, couple of years ago I spoke to the Kato USA reps asking them if they could run another version of this loco (as there are several variations of the fuel tank, air tanks and battery boxes) but they said that it would be too difficult as this would not only involve making a new plastic tank piece between the trucks. They would also have to change the metal chassis to accommodate it.  But I'm glad to see that for this run they at least made a new shell.  Maybe eventually they'll get around to making the changes I asked for.

+1. As eventually when I am able to build my large Boston Line layout again I will need Amtrak PIII cab cars.
