Dale Edward's Personal collection sold on eBay

Has anyone been watching this? The grandson of Dale E (cofounder of Kadee) has / is selling off his grandfathers
personal collection of Kadee cars in mass lots and some being one-offs, sold as single auctions. Kind of cool to watch.
Some of the lots went for reasonable (but not cheap) prices, AND now other dealers that aquired those cars are
now parting out the lots one car at a time and asking MOON money !! And it is interesting that some of the cars the
founder kept in his collection were only printed on one side. So, when you look at the box the car is normal, but when
you remove it, there is no printing on the bottom-of-the- box side!! I wonder how shocked the buyer was
when the got the cars and found out ?  Now they are trying to push it as "rare error cars" for like $3000 !!

Anyone been following this?

I'm tempted to buy one, strip it, rip the roof walk and trucks off, plug up the doors, paint it gray, weather the hell out of it, and mount whirly birds on the roof

Are you certain this is really Mr. Edward's personal collection?  Seems strange that a family business founder would be selling a personal collection.   
Shipsure are you outthere?  Please comment.   

The owner must be nearly 90, if not more, and the grand kids would probably prefer cash, as is normally the case
I assume, The collection includes every Kadee release plus many one-off prototypes that were never released to
the public, so i can think that even the founder would run out of room to keep them and most are just
in boxes in a closet or something.
The seller on eBay goes by the name KILLSHOTCUSTOMS and claims all this. I do not know if he has more to
sell. This has been going on for several months now. He does have some of the one- offs and multi-packs
up for sale now (at $1000+).
Just go one ebay and sort by price (highest to lowest)
This is DAle Edwards, the one that kept KADEE (not MT). So, i dont know how well shipsure would know?

I've been following this guy for some time now.  It really doesn't matter if they're from Dale's collection or not, though I suspect they are.  No one could accumulate that many misprints, one-sides, etc. if he was not the producer.  There is a niche market for these screw-ups and there are a few guys that will buy them.

He also has some products that are just plain hard to find.  With them, ol' Killshot has priced himself off the market.  In fact, he's not even on the planet.

Case in point: for many weeks now he's been listing a West India Fruit car that is, in fact, hard to find in mint condition.  Listed at $600.00.  Problem is, one just sold in the last few days after a 10-day auction period on the bay for $135.00.  We can assume that is the current maximum value of this car to the collector community.

So he has it listed at four times collectors' market value.

He might also be related to P.T. Barnum.
