Good riddance! Scarp them and those dam pathetic horns... The new V's sound sooooo much nicer. It makes a difference when you hear them about 20 times a day.

And they hissed quite a bit as well.

Crews are happy the "tin cans" are gone.

Everything is relative. Mid '60's, these were the cat pajamas and were featured in corporate publications.

The only pang about them being scrapped is for #269 which still had "PENNSYLVANIA" on the letter board.
