interesting they are packaging the cattle chute with the stock car....  no different then packing a load with any other rolling stock i suppose...   i like it...

the generator load confuses me... i will need to find a prototype for that load...  I wonder if someone here could point me in that direction (Joe?)

I heard a funny about the C&NW single sheathed boxcar...  "Wrong car, wrong war."

Luckily Intermountain will have the proper WWII war emergency body for this neat scheme.  Not the WWI body that MTL is using.

Couple of quick questions for Joe or anyone who knows.

1. Does the GN Car come with the corral and the N&W car the chute or are both included with both cars?

2. If both are not inlcuded with both cars are there plans to release the Corral and Chute separately?

thanks,

Kevin

Ha, reminds me that the MTL model (NYC prototype)  is a two level car, whereas the N&W car has one floor.

Joe, have you guys considered doing a single level 40' stock car?

They previously included a cattle shoot with the last NYC scheme they put on the car.  It was nice to get a prototype scheme, but then I only bought one because I didn't need 4-5 cattle shoots and the price reflected the addition.

I had finished modifying one of the original 40-year-old NYC models with lower ride height and body-mounts, after putting it off for years, a week or two before they announced the repaint.  Grrr.  Would have been nice to have the updated body with better and more complete printing beforehand.

Okay, so what is in store for August 2012?  8)
I had occasion to borrow the trucks from one of my MTL cars recently to replace those on a B&O car.
I removed the floor of the donator car and was surprise to see the body shell is labelled KADEE!
This is from the early part of my roster; a double door Wabash.  Glad I did NOT weather it.

No new MTL cars for me in July; I bought another B&O heavy weight train near the end of June; saving $$'s for the next B&O MTL car and FVM wagontops now way overdue.
