I spotted some interesting hyperrealistic paintings of railroad subjects at a gallery in Alexandria. I talked  with a gallery rep and found out who the artist was. Here is his web site.

The gallery in Old Town had two of his paintings on display. A small one for $2500 and the large winetr scene with coal hoppers for a nice round $12K.
