Figures these get announced as I'm building some of the Front Range/McKean kits.

Now to find a place that can sell these for less than $47 MSRP since I could probably use a bunch of them
Vincent

If N scale had good SD40-2s, C30-7s, U30Cs, SD45s, SD40s, and SW10s; I'd be in N scale.

Considering ExactRail only sells direct from their website now, probably none,

I thought those might be based on the same prototype as the Front Range / McKean
kits but I wasn't sure...too lazy to try and find mine. I just bought two of those kits
cheap at a show...like $3 a pop. I've always heard how impossible they are to build
so, naturally, I wanted to try it out.

Same here, I've built one and have 3 that I have to put decals on before final assembly. The problem is they are very light...

So they've nearly doubled their previous MSRP over previous releases, dropped that by 25% or so, and call it a 'discount'.  It's still a solid 25% more than their previous MSRP, and about double their old street pricing.

If the increase in "MSRP" is reflective of some cost increases they've seen, it's no wonder they needed to drop their dealer network to have any dream of keeping their pricing even remotely realistic.
