Milwaukee Road BLI E6 ?

How long did this scheme last?  Did they use it up until the UP switch over??

They were repainted into the orange maroon and grey paint scheme in 1948, which is the schene on the BLI E6 and it lasted until 1954 when they were repainted into the orange and maroon scheme.

Thank you for the info!  How were they painted prior to 1948?  Just wondering!

They wore a orange and grey scheme. The orange band looks kinda like a lightning bolt just under the can window. They were painted into the UP colors at some point, as I have seen pictures of 15 B in that scheme, not sure of the date.
