Saw that and thought, "Ooh, I might just grab the PRR livery for a display model and for use if I ever get around to joining the local HO club."  Then I saw the price tag.  Plenty of other things I could do with $1,200.

If it was N Scale and going to run on the layout, I might just.  Got too many projects for the layout to take on something that's primarily for display.

Thought this would be a good time to re-pay the favor and remind everyone that Kato is bringing out a U.P. FEF-3 IN THE FIRST QUARTER OF NEXT YEAR!!!! Along with its appropriate long Armour Yellow train!!! 

What?? No K-whatever??  I'm sure the 844 will be a huge success for Kato...and...for me!

True, but one could apply their own metallizer.

Lol at the jewel case (I remember the NE caboose debacle). I've never seen an HO jewel case. Usually it's just a thin plastic or sytrofoam case inserted into a cardboard box.

Ya know, if PCM were to deliver the M1..., I'd be willing to forgive and forget.  Man, the potential for Pennsy goodness is there. The M1, followed by the K4, then the I1, and finally the H10.

If PCM was to send out another pre reservation balloon, would you bite?

Those were originally announced in 2006...or was it 2005?  I reserved two the day they were announced, and I rereserved them when the first dealer went out of business.  I'll be pleasantly surprised if I ever get them.....

You're preaching to the choir I'm afraid. I've been wanting to pick up the HO GN S2 Northern since it was announced in 2005 (who says I can't have a little fun with steam excursions?)
