Took the three+ hour drive to Altoona yesterday as the NKP Heritage unit had not left for Conway on 11A the past 2 days. When I arrived in Altoona, 11A was still making its train up, so I took a ride by the Juniata Shops and 8100 was nowhere to be found.

NS 11A came through a misty and foggy downtown Altoona at 0850 in the morning with a plethora of good stuff incuding a SD60E leader, a GP22EC0 and its GP-TEB slug, but most importantly. with NKP 8100 the sixth locomotive back.

Check out my website (listed under the web tag) for railfanning pictures from 32 states, D.C., and Ontario. Current locomotive count: 5772!
