At a $20 price point I'd be in 6, but probably spread over a year to keep Mr. Wallet happy.

I'd be in for at least 3 at the $20-25 point, maybe a few more depending on the timing of the release. 

Assuming they are all photo etched details like the HO cars, building is half the fun provided it's a well designed kit that does not require lots of filling and bashing to make it look right.

I assumed that the Railyard link was for illustrative purposes only and that whoever this is (hehe) it is not railyard.

But ... there seems to be an assumption that Rod is Railyard Models ... is this the case? :? I recall Railyard being massively disappointed with sales of the one N scale kit they did make (G41).

During Amherst, I was in attendance during a discussion between the manufacturers that have expressed interest in doing a RTR plastic injection Pd3000. And yes, they talked about it here on TRW.

Looks like the project is being readied for modeling. Like Daniel, I will let the person doing it announce it their own way when they are ready.

Hi all,
I am not affiliated with any manufacturer.
I do know some of them and this thread is to see if there is any interest so I could pass it along.
My assumption would be that if a manufacurer did an n-scale model, it would be r-t-r.
Personally, I would buy a dozen or so since they are very prominent here in Grand Junction CO.
I would love to see them do Whitewater Building Materials, a local concrete supplier, and will gladly pass along copies of the photos of those cars.
A photo on TO recently showed 11 NATX(?) right behind the power on a UP train.

Because they are craftsman kits...they are supposed to take about 20-40hrs min.

If for some reason I run into him again at one of the local shows, I'll bring it up again and ask what sort of minimum he would need.

Was the N scale car he did a PRR coil car?
