I need some help from our neighbors to the North. Did anyone make a conversion kit for the front and cab of this unit to more accurately do the number boards. Also is there anyone making Flexicoil trucks?
Below is a couple of links to show what I'm talking about. I need this to bash a 1200 for a freind, so I would only need to do one unit.

Thanks, Jon

Jon:

Miniatures By Eric makes an N Scale SW1200RS shell.  For some reason they are not on his website but I have seen them at Central Hobbies and a friend is building one.  There is a version for CN and CP and I belive they include the Flexicoil trucks and the spark arrestors on top.  I would email Eric and ask, or contact Trains & Such in Calgary to see if they can get one for you.

Tip on the flexcoil trucks: get two or three sets as the molds are wearing down and there is a lot of flash between the bearing jurnals and brake shoes. I broke several sets when I was cleaning them out. They only cost 2-3 per set anyway.

Be careful which unit you choose to model. There were two different styles of number board assemblies used (relates to the stylized backing behind the number boards on the roof). What I think it amounts to is an early version and a later version of CN's fleet; MBE's kit represents one of the two. Not a huge detail, but food for thought.
Welcome to Ontario... we've got a tax for that.
