DT402R battery question?

I have a question about batteries and a DT402R. I did find that I can use rechargeable 9 V batteries but my question here is when the throttle is plugged in does the system charge the batteries as on the MRC unit?
If I use standard 9 V batteries, is the battery disconnected when the throttle is plugged in?
It seems like a real pain to have to remove the battery every time you want to leave the throttle set. However if it's possible to leave the throttle plugged-in when not in use and not drain the battery that's not an issue. Any advice?
Another question would be if having the throttle plugged-in disables the battery does the system have to be on? Or is the PS 514 powering the UR 92 or UP5 enough to sustain the battery or disconnect it in either case?
In other words if I leave the throttle plug-in (when not in use) does the battery drain down?
I hope this ramble makes some sense, I know what I'm trying to say but it's not quite coming out correctly.
Thanks, Mike

I don't think the battery can be charged in the throttle, but if you are plugged into a UP5, the battery shouldn't draw a lot of power ..

Thanks John , I see in the text that the throttle battery should have NO DRAW as long as it is plugged into a UP5 with an attached PS14. I have 3 throttles so will need two UP5's to plug them in while not in use.
Thanks , Mike
