The Railfan Gods Smiled Apon Me

Happy Holiday everyone,

Because of some family health issues, I had to take a sudden trip out to Arizona for the holidays. I took some alone time and jumped up to the Canyon Diablo bridge 30 miles east of Flagstaff. Within 5 min of getting there, I got this shot. Since the Railfan Gods were smiling yesterday, I thought it should be shared.

We are such a$$hat majors. A guy can post the best picture ever and
we still find weird crap to point out. Center-left looks like a kink in
the phone wires. LOL

Great shot Bob. Nice to see a MAC on the Transcon too.

Hope you had time to call into the La Posada for a steak and magarita too  ;)

Some of the locals will spend fabulous amounts of time there over their lives and never come close to bagging that money shot, and you casually roll up and bag the shot of a lifetime in under 300 seconds! Not just the meet, but the sweet, sweet light. Nicely done, Bob!

Hope you bought a lotto ticket on the drive back to Flagstaff.

I felt the same way about Tuesday. But that's for another thread.

Nice shot Bob!
