Doin' a dumb thing

All excited, laid the Atlas C-55 in Coyotes Wells, CA on the SD&AE HCD.
Passing siding, hold track and engine service lead. Lookin' good. I thought
do I mop on the Burnt Sierra craft paint or use the air brush and thin
some out. It worked great on the A side of the layout. Water and paint.
Attach the cup, nozzle already. Turn on old Duraire compressor  that
came over on the Mayflower. Ready to hit the button on the brush.

Compressor was on a stool, falls down and tube breaks off with a
piece stuck in the vent out. Duh! compressors rattle and roll.

Back to The Lee Weldon approved swabbing.....

I need to get the broken piece out, it broke flush with the opening.
Are these pretty standard threaded pipes/tubes?

That's one of the reasons I use the big compressor.  It sits on the floor, and the hose is plenty long enough to go around the whole room when needed.

But the old swabbie method is fine for short sections.
