I keep waiting for the next run of FT units.  Per IM several of the roadnames should be a go but some not so much.

My wallet is groaning - finally some passenger F units for the CN. The Kato units were all painted in the fright scheme ( the orange front panel is taper up on passenger units)

IM also is dojng another HO run of the pressure unload hoppers..... what do we in n scale have to do to get those bad boys....?

The Beanos would look really nice all beat up and weathered on my layout.  But alas, no budget for such luxuries.

At least I dodged the WM circus bullet for now.  When those come out, I'm going to just sell a kidney or something.

While damn near anything is possible, I think we found an "oops".... I just reviewed the Morning Sun Trackside Wabash book and I can't find any evidence to suggest that there would have ever have been anything but the yellow/faux gold "Wabash" and road number on those F units....hmmm.......

Thanks for checking the book.  The color shots on the web don't go much beyond the early 60's.

I've already called IMR too many times to care anymore.  Maybe someone else will fix it for them this time.

Sigh, crestfallen. The CN units would have appeared like that from 1961 to the early 70's. When rebuilt (those that we're already wrecked and scrapped) in the early 70's, they were painted into the freight zebra, which did not have the triangular red area at the cabside, but rather a vertical edge. They were also all renumbered at rebuild. No use for my late 80's era, had been hoping for, and supplied them with some basic info on, the 9100 series rebuilds (internal rebuilds, no external modifications at rebuild, though some had odd things done to them later for plow service).

CN 9076 rebuilt to CN 9160 December 1972 (retired December 1989, scrapped)
CN 9086 retired September 1971 (wrecked, scrapped)
CN 9092 retired March 1971 (wrecked, scrapped)

CN 9057 rebuilt to CN 9193 March 1973 (retired December 1988, scrapped)
CN 9059 rebuilt to CN 9195 June 1973 (retired December 1988, scrapped)

Yes; but it, from the picture on their page has the correct faux gold "Wabash" and road number painted, unlike the model which is white..... the white lettering and road number doesn't seem to be correct.

AGP is probably too new for me, but a Cargill, N&W and SCL are going to find their way to me.

Interesting to me that I've seen both the N&W and SCL schemes up here in Canada within the last 12 months (SCL was patched for CITX or something).

I just shot them an email regarding the Wabash F7s too.  That scheme was always a favorite of mine on the F7.  I probably won't pick one up, but that mistake should be easy enough to correct.
