Five complete X58 models exist, and they are being put through the same paces that the RP models were nearly a year ago.

Looking really good Bryan. Nice job on the couplers - among the many other details.  I can't wait for the modern NS edition.  (Hopefully that's still in the queue.)

It is, but I don't remember which release off the top of my head.  I think the first appearance is in 4th release.  I do know it's scheduled to be released twice - two cars the first time and one car the second time.

Lots of schemes in this series, 57 and counting.  There will be something for everyone.

Convinced
sign me up for (at least) a pair of 1984 era cars...

Open to a$$hat suggestions for roads/ladings that would be plausable on the west coast during that era.  Accent on the plain, common and mundane not the flashy, unique and one off please...

Looks good, Brian. Just got one of the XIM's in the CP Block lettering, and if the X58's are half as nice I'll be drooling over the CR version!

The X58 model is better than the XIH in my opinion.  There were some areas of the XIH design that I refined for the X58, and I think people will notice when they have the model in hand next year.  That said, the XIH still holds its own and the two models look great together.

You'll have plenty of CR to choose from.

FYI, the XIH script-herald CP cars start shipping to distributors next week and should be in the hobby stores the first week of October.  If you like the CP block, you'll love the CP script.

So freakin hot!  I need to step up the weathering effort on my Snowbirds so the LV cars will look as good.

I love my XIH's I am wondering how many X58's may have made it up onto the MEC I don't recall seeing many photos of these.
Do you plan on doing the yellow CP multimark scheme in run V of the XIH next year?

X58 cars were prolific and traveled to all corners of North America as did the XIH cars, so an X58 model would not at all be out of place on a post-1963 MEC layout.

Yes, the yellow CP Rail in XIH Series V.  Joining it will be an all-brown OPEX, CR ex-NH, PC, CP block c.1970s, one of the BAR SoMs and the first ESM holiday car.

Awesome!

Though the Script is my favorite CP image, I need canaries for my 80's era (though 3 Script XIM's are in my future, too).
