printing a full size trackplan...   What is that program you guys are using to print out a full scale trackplan on multiple pieces of paper?

I use AnyRail.
They have a 1:1 scaling option.
Takes moocho paper.

I find employing a 6" or 3" grid on a 1-4 sheet printout gets me in there like swimwear.

AnyRail.  But I recommend outputting the drawing 1:1 to a large PDF file (custom dimensions) and sending that to a printing house.  That way you don't have to piece pages together and risk pages being out of register.

With only 15 turnouts?
(And only 4-5 of those curved?)

Sounds like a good project for a good chunk of a year!

And at that size, it could be that layout you knew you could fit in the corner of the bathroom, connected to the rest of your layout by carfloat, for 24/7 uninterrupted ops!

That's a win-win all around!

Well I built it out of the same wood the warped on my #3 Z scale layout so I tossed it before I moved. Stupid because I now how TONS of room.  ww(

Tossed the whole thing right in the dumpster, did save the buildings though.

Was worried I had too much to move.

I print mine out using AutoCAD and the plotter at work-  great for templates for track risers.  I would think that printing something out full-size on multitudes of letter paper would be a gigantic pain in the keister.  You would probably be money ahead and definintely sanity ahead if you took it to a blueprint shop and had them plot it out.  Not as expensive as you think.

It was a small layout so it all fit on 16 pieces of paper.
