For Chris333 - Old Clippings from Da Valley

My Dad is cleaning out stuff.  I got a package with RR related things the other day.

Can't remember a building at this corner to get a photo like this, but it may have been gone by the time I moved to Warren.

From the Youngstown Vindicator Sunday Rotogravure section.  8/20/72.  The former interurban Youngstown & Southern.  I don't imagine the do a rotogravure section these days.

Same source 4/25/71.  Couldn't scan the entire width of the page.

:D  Ahhh good stuff! I've never heard of the Sunday Tribune Magazine, looks like around 1955.

Maybe the road curved a little to follow the tracks and there was a restaurant there.

The Sunday Tribune Magazine  has a 12/20/81 date.  I agree the photo is likely from the mid 50's.  Thanks for the Fliker link.  I think I'll be spending some time browsing.
